About Dr. Ceravolo

Dr. Joseph Ceravolo received his undergraduate and medical school training from State University of New York at Buffalo. He completed his residency in General Surgery and practiced emergency medicine for several years before completing his residency in Ophthalmology at the University of Buffalo. He moved to Columbus, Georgia to establish North Columbus Eye Center in 2002, where he currently practices.

Dr. Ceravolo is trained in the latest Ophthalmic techniques, including cataract, glaucoma, LASIK, PRK, and other refractive surgeries. He is a board-certified member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO), as well as the Georgia Society of Ophthalmology and the American Society for Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS). In the Columbus area, Dr. Ceravolo has hospital privileges at NovaMed Surgery Center, Doctor’s Hospital, Saint Francis Hospital, and The Medical Center. Dr. Ceravolo is also featured on the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer’s Ask The Expert section.

Dr. Ceravolo now resides in Harris County, and practices Ophthalmology in both Georgia and Alabama.
